The Medina Wedding Chapel has a story as timeless as the vows exchanged within its walls. Originally built in 1875 as a Methodist church, this charming landmark served the local community for nearly a century. Because of decreasing membership in the three area Methodist churches in Greenville, Hortonville, and Medina, these congregations consolidated and built a new church in the Town of Greenville in 1969.
In December 1993, the former owners discovered the old Medina church for sale. Having both grown up on farms in Outagamie County, they shared a deep appreciation for historic buildings and antique furnishings. When they first stepped inside, the chapel had been sitting untouched for 24 years, with only a brief use by a Pentecostal group and later as storage. Through dedication and care, they lovingly restored it to its original beauty while adding a few modern comforts such as central air, heating, a baby grand piano, and a Bose sound system.
In December 2024, Ted Zenner
became the new owner of the Medina Wedding Chapel. The previous owners worked closely with Ted to ensure a smooth and thoughtful transition, united by a shared goal, to continue offering couples the same magical Medina Wedding Chapel experience that has made this place so special for decades.
Today, Ted and his team proudly carry forward that legacy. From your first visit to the final "I do", you'll find warmth, care, and a genuine desire to make your day truly unforgettable. We invite you to experience the chapel's antique charm, oak pews, polished wood floors, and peaceful gazebo, and to create your own chapter in its rich history.
Welcome to the Medina Wedding Chapel
